“Welcome to Miami! Buckle up and prepare for the ride!”

Our pilot for the day shouts through the speaker on his headphones as we prepare to take off. We are at North Perry Airport, located 20 miles north of downtown Miami and we about to start our scenic flight around Miami.

It doesn’t take long for us to get to the coastline. As we glide above South Beach and the sparkling shoreline, our pilot points and give us some facts about landmarks ranging from the Miami Beach Marina to the Art Deco District. High rising resorts cast their shadow over the clear blue waters below as sunbathers enjoy a fantastic day at the beach.

We continue the flight over Key Biscayne, the off-shore stilt houses, the Venetian islands and downtown Miami. Below our feet, an interesting combination of natural landscapes, opulence display and impressive man-made skyline passes by as we observe in awe.
