This summer, I’ve had an extremely hectic schedule – traveling from Spain to Madagascar and Mauritius to the Arctic. It’s honestly been awhile since I last sat my desk proper to write and reflect on my travels. I’ve therefore set a travel embargo of some sorts on myself: I’ll be staying put at my homebase in Granada, Spain over the next three weeks. It’s about time to slow down my pace, soak in everything that I’d experienced over the past few months and string them into words.
I’ll be working on a few writing gigs – updating the Spain chapter for World Travel Guide, writing numerous city guides for Argus Rentals and blogging on Iberostar Passport to blog. In addition to that, I’ll be writing for South Africa’s most popular travel magazine, Getaway, as well as the Huffington Post. Please do check these sites out when you’ve got the chance.
On the blog front, there’ll be some slight changes. Based on feedback from many of you, I’ve removed the ‘Daily Travel Snapshot’ features. Over the next few weeks I’ll be blogging about my recent jaunts in Madagascar and the Arctic, so stay tuned!
As for travel plans, my next trip is scheduled for 16th September and this time I’ll be traveling with my new husband to Iceland and taking our time to explore the whole country. Right after, I’ll be off solo again to the Pyrenees, a mountainous region that divides Spain and France.
In the meantime, many thanks for reading and stick around for more!

Look forward to seeing you in the Pyrenees!
